Frequently Asked Questions

  These classes are one on one instruction for 10 minutes per day, Monday-Friday for 6-8 straight weeks.  Children who have not been walking for 3 months will learn to roll back to float.  Children walking for 3 months and beyond will learn the swim-float-swim sequence.  They will swim for 3-4 seconds, roll back to float for 3-4 seconds then flip over to swim to safety.  Near the end of their session, there will be clothing checkouts.   Floating babies will need to demonstrate an independent float for no less than 60 seconds then everyone will need to perform their skills in summer and then in winter clothing before completing the session.  I also like to make sure that they can flip over in their life jacket if they were to ever get swept away face down in the water.  All Water safety awareness education will be taught to the parents during the program and will have the option to do in water time with their child on Friday's.  

 There is a non-refundable registration fee of $105 which is good for 1 year after registration.  After that it is $35 per year.  This is an exclusive medical review of your child's background that is evaluated by ISR's MD's and pediatric RNs to ensure lessons will be safe for your child.  If they are not approved for lessons, then your registration will be refunded otherwise it is non-refundable.   The cost of the lessons is $750.00 and then a 10% discount for siblings.  Lessons are non-refundable however they can be rolled over to a new session if you needed to cancel.  Payment arrangements can be made.   

We have an indoor 4ft pool in at a private location off of Hodgenville Rd, Elizabethtown Ky.   Lessons are offered year-round.  In the summer months, depending on availability, I will use a larger in ground pool for stroke training once basic ISR skills are mastered.
